Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos may be on his way out of the club after posting a cryptic message on social media following his brief appearance against Real Oviedo on Monday, August 25, 2025.
Ceballos came off the bench in the 87th minute, replacing Kylian Mbappé, during Los Blancos’ 3-0 away win. Although he only played for a few minutes, the 29-year-old still contributed to the team’s convincing performance.
All three goals were scored by Real Madrid’s attacking stars, a brace from Mbappé and one goal from Vinícius Júnior.
This wasn’t the first time Ceballos was given only a short time on the pitch. In the previous match against Osasuna, he was also brought on in the 90th minute, replacing Arda Güler.
Following the Oviedo match, Ceballos sparked speculation about his future by posting “Last Dance” on his personal social media account, a message fans believe signals his intention to leave Real Madrid.
