The SEA Games 2025 is set to take place in Thailand from 9 until 20 December 2025, but the men’s soccer tournament will kick off earlier, running from 3 until 18 December 2025. Cambodia Withdraws, Group Distribution Adjusted
Originally, 10 national teams were expected to compete in the men’s soccer category. However, the lineup has changed after Cambodia officially withdrew from the tournament.
Cambodia was initially placed in Group A, but their departure left the group with only Thailand and Timor-Leste. As a result, Singapore, previously assigned to Group C, has been moved into Group A to balance the groups.
